One-day Health Resources Conference at University City Public Library

The Ferguson Municipal Public Library, with University City Public Library, Washington University, St. Louis University, Mizzou, and the National Network of Libraries of Medicine will be offering a one-day conference on Health Resources for librarians and library staff.

Topics will include:

-Overviews of online Health and Medicine Resources (such as Pubmed, Medline Plus, and many more)

-Health Literacy: What it is and what it means for your patrons

-Marketing Strategies for Marketing Health Resources within the Library

The conference will take place on April 3rd, from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Conference Schedule:

April 3rd, 2020

9:00am  – 10:30am: First Session

10:30am – 12:00pm: Second Session

Lunch

1:00pm – 2:30pm: Third Session

2:30pm – 4:00pm: Fourth Session

4:00pm – 5:00pm: Local Area Health Organizations Fair
