Have some old electronics that no longer work? Bring them to our Electronic Recycling Event with Ferguson Parks and Recreation! MRC Recycling will take your old, broken down, or just plain unwanted electronics and dispose of them properly. This event will take place in the parking lot of Forestwood Park, right off of Ferguson Ave.
Thanks to a grant from St. Louis County, we will be covering the disposal fees (up to 3 per household) on the following items:
- CRT Monitors
- CRT TVs 26” or less
- CRT TVs 27” or greater
- Wood Console and True Big Screen/Projection TVs
- LED/LCD/Plasma TVs
- Any Freon containing unit
If you have more than 3 items that have a disposal fee, you'll be charged a fee based on the item you're disposing. Fees can be anywhere from $5 - $50, depending on the item. What else will MRC take for recycling? Pretty much anything with a cord or a battery, including:
- Computers
- Printers
- Laptops
- Keyboards
- Hard drives
- Cell phones
- Home/desk phones
- Routers
- Video gaming systems
- Batteries (Non Alkaline)
- Pagers
- Radios
- Scanners
- Speakers
- VCR/DVD Players
- Fax machines
- Answering machines
- Stereos
- Furnaces
- Water heaters
- Microwaves
- Power tools
- Kitchen appliances
- Laundry appliances
- Lawn and garden equipment (GAS AND OIL MUST BE DRAINED)
- Exercise equipment
- Office equipment
- Fans
- Servers
- Tablets
- Cable/satellite receivers
- Video photography
- Cables, wires, and chargers
- Ink and toner cartridges
- Controllers
- Handheld systems
- Lab/medical equipment per hard drive
