Join us for some stories and songs for your littlest readers! We'll also enjoy some time to play and make new friends. For children ages 0-5 and their adult caregivers.

Do you have a kid between the ages of 9 and 14 who likes to build with Lego bricks, is interested in robots, or just looking for something fun to do? Sign them up for our FIRST Lego League team today! Kids will program a robot to do certain tasks and research and present a science project, all while learning how to work together as a team.

The team meets every Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm, starting on August 6. Our season will end sometime in December. Occasional absences are okay, but your child must be able to attend as many meetings as possible. Register your child here: FIRST Lego League Team Registration.

The library is closed on Sundays.

Interested in learning how to sew, gaining new skills, or making some new crafty friends? Join the Ferguson Sewing Club! Our group of experienced sewists enjoy sharing their craft with new people, so even if you know very little about sewing, you are more than welcome to join the club. Sewing machines are provided, but you'll need to bring your own materials. For more information, please contact Taneesa at 314-521-4820 or by emailing feedback@fergusonlibrary.net.

Need help applying for utility assistance programs like LIHEAP? Drop by the library on Tuesdays from 1:15-4 pm to get help from CAASTLC! A CAASTLC representative will be on hand to help you submit your applications. They will also have information about other programs CAASTLC offers, like their home weatherization program, ex-offender services, and much, much more.

October's selection: Madness: Race and Insanity in a Jim Crow Asylum by Antonia Hylton

The Readings on Race Book Club meets monthly to unpack the complex and challenging subject of race in America by reading and discussing books on this topic. The book club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 pm. The book club meets in a hybrid virtual and in-person format.
