Interested in learning how to sew, gaining new skills, or making some new crafty friends? Join the Ferguson Sewing Club! Our group of experienced sewists enjoy sharing their craft with new people, so even if you know very little about sewing, you are more than welcome to join the club. Need help applying for utility assistance programs like LIHEAP? Drop by the library on Tuesdays from 1:15-4 pm to get help from CAASTLC! A CAASTLC representative will be on hand to help you submit your applications. They will also have information about other programs CAASTLC offers, like their home weatherization program, ex-offender services, and much, much more.

May's selection: Invisible: The Forgotten Story of the Black Woman Lawyer Who Took Down America’s Most Powerful Mobster by Stephen L. Carter

The Readings on Race Book Club meets monthly to unpack the complex and challenging subject of race in America by reading and discussing books on this topic. The book club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 pm. The book club meets in a hybrid virtual and in-person format. The May meeting has been moved to May 19 due to the Memorial Day holiday.

The Library Board of Trustees adopts policies to oversee and review administration of the Library. Nine trustees are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Ferguson. Learn something new and level up your skills! We’ll tackle a different project each month, from crafts to cooking to technology and more.
